Johan Olsson is a Partner at GRO, based in the firm’s London office.

Johan works closely with founders and management teams of software companies on scaling, strategic development and value creation. He is particularly passionate about helping businesses unlock their next phase of growth through stronger commercial execution, talent development and product strategy. He believes that the requirements for success evolve significantly as companies scale and enjoys partnering with teams as they navigate that journey.

Before joining GRO, Johan was CEO of a consumer internet business and a technology growth investor at Summit Partners. He began his career in technology investment banking at J.P. Morgan in London and at Google in Dublin.

Johan is Swedish and holds a BSc in Economics & Finance from the University of Gothenburg and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
