GRO Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Promotions to Support Growth and Long-Term Impact
Copenhagen, November 11, 2025 – GRO is pleased to announce the promotion of three exceptional team members as the firm continues to expand its investment platform and leadership capacity. Christopher Ager and Johan Olsson have been promoted to Investment Partners, and Kirsten Vedel Møller to Investment Director.
These appointments highlight GRO’s commitment to nurturing talent and advancing its position as Europe’s leading B2B software investor, in line with its vision of being the best place for the best people to grow and unleash their full potential.
As Partner and Head of People & Culture, Mona Vaupel Knudsen says:
“These promotions demonstrate that our focused investment in leadership development is making a meaningful impact. Developing future leaders is at the heart of building a stronger, more resilient platform for growth and long-term performance.”
Christopher Ager promoted to Investment Partner
Based in GRO’s Oslo office, Chris Ager has been instrumental in several investments since joining the firm in 2022, including Catenda, Netigate, Akselos, Omada, and Queue-it. With a background at Vitruvian Partners in London and earlier experience at Goldman Sachs in New York and London, Chris brings deep technology and software domain knowledge and investing expertise.
Chris is known for his integrity, collaborative approach, and strong commitment to partnering with founders and management teams. He has played a key role in deepening GRO’s thematic investing approach, and his promotion recognizes his values-based leadership, strategic insight, and impact on portfolio growth.
Johan Olsson promoted to Investment Partner
Based in GRO’s London office, Johan Olsson joined the firm in 2022 and has led investments including Paligo, DigitalRoute, AIMMS, and TARGIT, which successfully exited to Forterro earlier this year. He previously held leadership and investment roles as CEO of a consumer internet business, growth investor at Summit Partners, and earlier positions at JP Morgan and Google.
Johan has shown remarkable personal and leadership growth, emerging as a trusted partner to management teams and a key contributor to GRO’s international expansion. His promotion reflects both his investment excellence and his role in shaping GRO’s culture of performance, collaboration, and next-generation talent development.
Kirsten Vedel Møller promoted to Investment Director
Kirsten Vedel Møller, who joined GRO in 2024, has quickly made her mark, leading the investment in Qumea earlier this year – a Swiss AI-powered radar technology company advancing privacy-first patient safety across Europe. Previously an Investment Manager at Nordic Capital and an investment banker at ABG Sundal Collier, Kirsten brings deep experience in the software sector, strong investment acumen and has demonstrated natural leadership talent with an unwavering commitment to elevating the leadership agenda across the broader Private Equity industry.
Building Europe’s Leading Platform for Growth
“We are proud to recognize Christopher, Johan, and Kirsten for their exceptional contributions and leadership,” said Maxwell Veyhe, Partner at GRO. “Their promotions represent another step forward in building Europe’s leading investment platform for software growth. Our continued investment in talent and leadership is central to how we deliver lasting value for the companies and founders we back.”
