GRO exits Auditdata as the AI-powered audiology platform enters its next growth phase

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – February 10, 2026 – Today, GRO announces its exit of Auditdata to a platform backed by a global investment firm. The transaction marks a new phase for Auditdata and concludes a long-standing and committed partnership with GRO, during which Auditdata has developed into a scaled, global audiology platform combining software and software-enabled instruments, with a growing AI-enabled product suite. Auditdata holds a uniquely differentiated position in the global audiology industry as a vendor integrating practice management software with software-enabled clinical instruments across care settings.

GRO invested in Auditdata from GRO Fund I in 2016 with the ambition of supporting the company’s development into a leading independent global provider of audiology software and instruments. Demand for modern diagnostics and patient-centric hearing care has continued to grow, supported by long-term demographic tailwinds. Against this backdrop, Auditdata has evolved from a founder-led Nordic specialist into a professionalized growth company serving audiology and hearing care professionals worldwide. Today, Auditdata is trusted by leading hearing care groups and clinic networks across Europe, North America, and APAC.

“Auditdata has continually advanced software innovation in hearing care, including opening the retail market with a platform built to scale across clinic networks,” said Lars Lunde, Partner at GRO. “By building an industry-leading data foundation and leveraging AI across the suite, Auditdata is well positioned to deliver a ‘Best Care’ experience for clinicians and patients worldwide. We are proud of what the team has achieved.”

During GRO’s ownership, Auditdata significantly strengthened its recurring revenue base and enterprise momentum, more than tripling recurring revenue over the period. The company has been on a dedicated internationalization journey, with the 2025 entry into the US as the latest significant step. Commercially, Auditdata strengthened its growth engine by building a dedicated retail channel, rolling out a full enterprise offering, and advancing partnerships with major global retailers. Over the same period, the company broadened its international presence and accelerated the transition to modern, cloud-based platforms for its enterprise customers.

As Auditdata was the final company in GRO Fund I, this exit also brings the fund’s journey to a formal close. We are proud of the development Auditdata achieved during our ownership and look forward to following its continued growth under new ownership.

On the product side, Auditdata accelerated development through close collaboration with a major OEM partner, co-creating an enterprise solution that closed a strategic gap and scaling it into a platform for global clinic networks. Targeted add-on acquisitions, including Acousoft, Practice Navigator, and Simply Hearing, broadened capabilities and customer reach and supported continued internationalization.

AI as a catalyst for the next era of hearing care

Alongside Auditdata’s global expansion and entry into the US market, AI is set to define the company’s next phase of growth. As a core strategic priority, Auditdata is embedding AI across its platforms to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and support clinical decision-making – ultimately enhancing the care experience for clinicians and patients at scale.

"Our goal is to elevate the entire hearing care value chain – from scheduling and retail operations to clinical insights and outcomes,” said Kurt Bager, CEO of Auditdata. “The core is the PMS platform trusted daily by thousands of professionals, now upgraded with AI. As we grow globally and strengthen our US presence, we remain dedicated to providing scalable, future-ready solutions for clinics of any size.”

With this investment, Auditdata enters its next phase focused on accelerating global scale, deepening enterprise adoption, and advancing AI-enabled innovation.

The acquiring entity will be disclosed at a later stage.
